Dragon Plush, XGen Interactive Groom

This adorable little groom was inspired by patchwork stuffed animals and the charming world of Kirby's Epic Yarn Adventure. I wanted to explore many different materials and textures within this project.

Note: The original dragon plush was modeled by Evan Dickinson from a concept by Emmalie Hall, and its original look development was by Julia Boisvert. It can be found here: https://renderman.pixar.com/dragon-plush

The original rough concept. While actually making the textures, I ended up basing much of the patterns on that initial 3DS cover, like the blue patchwork on the horns, and that quilted plush on the belly.
